Yes and No  L

The Plasma screen acts a one large IR remote

An undocumented feature they throw in

I have opened up HomeVision and put a Xantech emiter over the Ir pickup in HomeVision and have then taped it all over stopping any IR getting t HV

My HomeVision is obviously in a cupboard and not controled by a remote itself

Subject: [ukha_d] Background IR Problems

Hi Mike
A while ago I bought a Buffalo Splitter Block and IR Receiver t enable me
t control HomeVision in a different room.  All went well, until this week.
I have purchased an NEC Plasma screen and it seems t be interfering with my
IR signals.  The feed-back light on the receiver is permanently on (but
slightly dim), if I turn the screen off, all goes back to normal operation.

Any ideas on how I can get around this.

Cheers
Graham Kiff
