My brother-in-law thought the same when he went off t the US a couple of
months ago ... however while out there he looked around and the cheapest he
found saved him about $40 (IIRC) over the cheapest UK price he found which
was (again IIRC) £379 (on TCR). (He was looking at the lower spec colour
model not the 64Mb t p end one.)
In the end he thought that $40 wasn't worth it when he wouldn't have anyone
t go scream at if it died after a few days.
