When I extended some I used a Katt 601 joint
box, its the sort of thing BT use to bring in one large multicore then
distribute out locally. It has clip in strips which accept 20 punch down
type connections, each box will accommodate three of the strips. I think I
got them from CPC, it certainly made a nice neat job.
