RE: Homeseer Phone
I had
thought
about it.
It comes
down
t cost, and the amount of stuff on my Pc - I like you could probably get
away
with - "we need a new modem dear" (current one is 28800 and now seems verys
lowwww) and she would buy into that as she uses the web a
lot.
Justifying a separate device to
just
do CLI is not really a possibility.
Asides
from CLI I was hoping t use it t get rid of the answerphone, and use a
script
in Homeseer t playback answer phone messages
Dan
Have you considered a dedicate hardware
alternative ? Not sure how well this will integrate with
Homeseer.
Try the following
http://www.solwise.co.uk/cid.htm http://www.crucible-technologies.com/caller-display.html
Also
look at
http://www.ainslie.org.uk/callerid.htm
The
UK caller ID FAQ, most helpful. I've not yet convinced SWMBO t let me
look
at doing any CLID
work.
