No I haven’t had any luck

The guy who wrote the software only seems t upgrade it when he wants

In fact at one point he said there would be no more development, shortly after he released another version

Go figure

I have managed t fire off my own VB exe (mute.exe) when the phone rings (sometimes) I use this to mute the Hifi

From capitel.cfg

##########################################################################

#

# name : start_disconnect

# flags: OS2 WIN TIM

# info : flag for starting a program every time of a (d-chanel-)disconnect.

##########################################################################

start_disconnect=1

start_disc_proc=mute.exe

start_disc_parm=

start_disc_title=

##########################################################################

Trouble is I don’t really understand ISDN and on top of that the computer gets its feed via the S Bus and I understand that even less

I’ve tried quizzing the service engineer from Siemens but not with too much success.

I run a Teles card in the PC

There is even less info on these now but at least the system works

Teles used t have an excellent answerphone programme

But it doesn’t run under ‘98

Mike

Mike, have you got the caller id info from capitel int homevision. I know you were talking about the log file before, but I couldn't work out how to read it then delete it. Also would you have a periodic event t check if the file is there, or is there some way for HV t be aware of an isdn phone call coming in.

Graham
