I'm still going through the archives, (Message 401 of 17963) and I've come
across some cableing advice:

"If you have plumbing for central heating etc, that's often a handy
source
of ready-made holes etc which you can use, while keeping away from mains
cables."

Is this a good idea? wont the heat from the pipe effect the cable?
