Good sound quality? Compared to what? An equivalently priced set of decent
boxes ... then no. Compared to a set of "micro" speakers ... then
not bad.

I've played with the Wharfedale "Loud Panel" speakers but not
with the NXT's
... the last time I heard the NXT's was a couple of years ago and they
were - well - garbage but I understand that they have inmproved and are
actually pretty good now. However the NXT's are not picture frame speakers
whereas the Loud Panels are.

IMHO the Loud Panels are an acceptable (even reasonable) compromise when
normal speakers are not an option ... we used a set at one time in our
boardroom at work to complement the wall mounted 40" plasma and they
had a
couple of pictures of the company offices in them ... were most acceptable.
