TV Aerials...

With regard t  the use of aerials in loft spaces.

We're currently living in a flat over our garage whilst I complete the
house and our television aerial is a five element set-top one, so it's
effectively in a loft space.

My friends with OD all told me that I'd need to get a "proper"
aerial in
order to receive any stations. However much t  their chagrin my little
set-top aerial provides me with the best part of 60 channels.

I must admit that I do live only 12 miles line of sight, and I mean that
I can see the mast,
from the transmitter so that probably helps! :-)

I suppose the lesson is, "suck it and see"
