Phil,
Have you spoke t  the BBC.  They have a tech help desk specifically for
reception.  By giving Post Code or grid ref the guy could tell me where t
point aerial, how to position (bars vertical or horizontal) and recommended
aerial installers in my area.
The recommended guy turned up with an box of gizmos, and aerial on a
pole and tried various locations around property, recommended aerial (and
Mast Head Amp) rig, finally did install a week later.
I live in area of poor reception (as the guy from BBC said .... must be
nice countryside around you because reception looks like it will be bad!).
Now, unfortunately I've lost phone # but I think I got it from the web (BBC
site?) somewhere.
