Disable the contols except for on/off which should be left for safety
purposes. Or alternatively disconnect the buttons from the unit and connect
them t  your HA controller, a bit of noddy programming and you get pseudo
local control....control---->HA Controller->>>>>>Unit.
Of course if the HA
controller is down then no AC ;) you pays your money....you takes your
choice.
