but it DOESNT run all the time.

It stops when it reaches the correct temperature therfore will use very
little, probably less than 100W. Also dont forget that you can get 7 of
those hours for much less using Economy 7

Eeek! That would be £876 per year at 24/7. Best rethink that plan.
