Well at least I know it is not a fault. Wish I knew enough about=20
electronics to address the problem but unfortunately I don't. I=20
assume a simple capacitor similar t those used on some motherboards=20
t preserve the settings ... beyond that I couldn't begin to guess.=20
But this still would not turn the unit on when power was applied so=20
would not allow use of an AM.
I guess it is down to using the inbuilt timer thing in some way then=20
which although far from ideal will at least allow some form of semi=20
automation.=20

Another for the same price would be nice ;)
Seriously though, it might yet turn out t be =A370 of spares but=20
fingers crossed it will work perfectly and I can be proud of my=20
bargain of the decade :)=20
