Seems my other reply last night went into groups.yahoo.blackhole :(

Anyway, replacement reply updated to current events...

Thanks Phil. I just got back from the store and since my visit=20
yesterday s meone else has obviously taken a look since the tape on=20
the top of the box has been undone and some of the polystyrene=20
packaging removed but it was useful to know about the original=20
packaging for my trip today.

Ah right, that makes sense, I was initially thinking Keith was Mr=20
Negotiator :)

Anyway, given the opened state of the box and a few cosmetic problems=20
(one castor smashed and some very minor cracks in the casing of the=20
indoor unit) I got a very good price on the unit. We plugged it in to=20
make sure it actually worked at all and it did create cold air=20
immediately so I purchased it at the unrefusable price of =A370 (yes=20
seventy). Yay! It is currently crammed into the back seat of my Audi=20
90.

Obviously my joy may well be short lived when I get home and try and=20
set it up properly but HB have said if I have any problems I can just=20
return it and they will hounour the full guarantee on it.=20

Now, my intial problem is a complete lack of an instruction manual so=20
if anyone could/has scanned it in and could send it me it would be=20
much appreciated. Als if anyone has a parts list handy (might be in=20
the manual) then that would be useful to ensure I have everything.

At the moment I have the indoor and outdoor units connected by=20
umbilical, two pipes (one white, one black) which I assume are for=20
water overflow etc., three red stoppers(?) and four brackets.=20
Anything I am missing?

Thanks,

Mark.
