Re: [OT]'ish - Genies' Free Sim Offer
Does the phone not send an AT command when it receives the
message?
I have a Siemens TC35 at home (A standalone modem/phone thingy) and it
sends AT commands when a message is received.
I am trying to figure a way of receiving these in Homeseer or an external
programme tied int homeseer.

- You could now even use one of the mobile phones units on an ISA/PCI
card

- Can you
do this ??? ie have a mobile phone permanently connected to a PC that will
transfer any SMS text messages it receives to the PC ? & vv ? It would
be ideal way t control a HA setup or receive alarm / status
messages.
- Currently
I can send SMS from my PC but not receive it so I'm half way there.
