Hi Mike,

As I already have so many uplayed-with toys sitting around, I knew
perfectly
well that I would never get around to assembling a kit in any great hurry,
so I bought one ready-assembled. (it only added £5 t the cost). - Plus
it's
been about 15 years since I assembled an electronic kit, and I wanted it to
work!

What I got therefore, was a ready assembled PCB, with all the connectors
etc. mounted, ready t be hooked up to power & audio. I tested it with
a PP3
9v battery, hooked up to my laptops line-out just to verify it's operation
and range.

S the only "construction" I need to do is to mount it in a nice
case, and
bring all the connectors out t the side of the case as well. To this end I
have bought a pair of panel-mount phono sockets, a panel-mount 2.5mm mono
jack socket and a 2.5mm mono jack plug (both for power), and a wall-wart
PSU. Hopefully I will get round to doing this much!!

Paul G.
