Thanks, Brian. That blows my cover of trying to convince people that I
haven't been ripping them off.

I used to fly C152s. From what I can remember from preflight checks, the
"exhaust" system was no more than a short piece of pipe sticking
out of
the engine. C172 is just a longer version of C152.
