I have a feeling that you didn't read my comments fully. I repeat: The
factory price for a UK appliance or lamp module is over =A310 for
quantitie=
s
of several thousands. Additional costs would have t  be added before the
modules get t  the first destination of the line. If anyone is ripping
people off, it is at the start of the line.

Yes, cost is a factor but is not always a major one. Obscurity, lack of
choice and features have also contributed to it.

Do you actually know the quantity Homebase have shifted before and now or
are you just assuming?

The discount on what price? Of course there is profit left, HA business is
not charity work and we have bills to pay and mouths t  feed. The profit,
however, is nowhere near as much as you are assuming though. There is
always room for a price cut, the question is where and how much.
