I set up Orinoco in about 10 minutes, very simple indeed. I already had a
peer-to-peer network hanging off an ISDN router that does DHCP. I simply
plugged in the AP (Residential Gateway as Orinoco call it) and put a
wireless card in a laptop (windows 98) and followed the instructions of the
standard install. That got everything communicating, but I did have to
fiddle a little bit to get DHCP set up correctly. Once I had that working I
got the ePOD set up in no time by downloading the latest drivers and
plugging the card in. I have had some problems getting signals through some
of my walls (2ft+ stone) but the majority of the time signal has been fine.
I would certainly recommend this kit.
Graham
