Sorry for the new post but this egroups-yahoo has screwed by inbound routing rules until i change them.
 
Anyway all i get on the epod is a flash of the 'online' led at power on after the first hard reset. LCD screen remains blank.
 
I have tried -
 
soft reset
hard reset
the so called hard hard reset - disconnecting bat for 1 hour
the link 32 to pin 22 on the DOC board.
the lift pin 32 mod.
 
It is still dead.
 
Time for the cc company to get me a refund.
