Re: Idea to reduce traffic

As a lurker for many months - one of the great features of egroups is that
you can use the digest mode (which i've been using for months).  To me this
cuts down traffic.(I know other systems do this as well)
Over the last couple of days I've turned single email back on, just to keep
up on the epods thread (I found I was spending so much time refreshing the
egroups web page I decided that I'd save time by just getting individual
ones sent for a while (till I see an anouncement by whoever bought the
200))
When I was on digest mode I admit I didnt watch many threads - but at least
it kept me up to date.  The bulky emails were not an issue.  Now if I only
had a 14k modem it would be different.

Hmm - 5 more ukha_d emails just came in while I was typing this..
