Remember though that I'm looking to remove the Pronto from the equation
altogether.

I want to use the ePod via a (shhhh) wireless lan conection to control a
HomeVision ... the homevision would be handling any home automation control
plus any IR that was needed. (And no ... I have no spare PCI slots in the
PC
that is used for controlling X10 at the moment so I'll need an access
point.)
