Are you worried about HV receive or send ?

I use pronto & HV but I use IR sequences, so by using just 10 IR codes
in a
three byte sequence I get 999 commands, its dead easy to implement, in my
case I have a large menus of all my CD collection (in MP3) and I can select
any album (max 999)
by using a sequence I also find it much easer to programme as the selection
is done in one macro.

Actually I go one step further and programme up the Pronto using a Pascal
programme to write all the album details and generate the IR data to
transmit, that way if I add a album, it will insert it in the correct
alphabetical place in the pronto screen, and rename the MP3 playlist so
that
it is consistent. also it only takes a couple of minutes to alter the
pronto. it goes something like this

1. take my standard CCF (which I can alter if necessary)
2. decompile
3. Run Pascal programme (takes about 30 seconds but generates a huge file
also modifies the playlists)
4. recompile
5. download to pronto.

HV does not need to be modified as it just outputs a serial string
including
the 3 byte sequence which is the playlist name.

If you want to see the macro I will post it, the Pascal programme is a bit
more complex and would not mean much unless you understand the IR data
formats used.
