Ok, here goes...

Sorry for keeping you hanging on but I wanted to test a little first. The
update went well. I copied the contents of files200.zip to my CF card
(external) just to be sure and made sure I was running on mains!! The
first thing I had to do on my Epods when deleting (eek) the files from
Epods system was run the command prompt and remove the readonly attribute
from the files first. When it came to the registry import I got the
printf() error - I looked at the message board and they seemed to have
various coments on it - none worked for me (I was left with a start bar
and the rest of the screen was white.) so I imported it twice (without
closing the registry editor) and rebooted. (soft) and everything was ok. I
also managed to work out how to turn the cursor off to which I did.

The only scary bit is removing the epods system files... you just have to
hope and pray that nothing goes wrong during the copy.

I now have a v2 epod... :-)))

A.
