This is perhaps justification for using a PIR + X10 in itself. On the
assumption that most downstairs loos have windows and provide an entry
point
to a house, it sounds a good idea to provide early warning to the alarm
that
someone is attempting an entry.

I've wondered about the security implications if someone did get into to
somewhere like the downstairs loo. For starters, they're now in the house
and hence unobserved, so have time to plan the rest of their entry. Perhaps
best not to discuss what else they may then try to disable/bypass the
security arrangments...
