The only reason I wanted an LD11 controlled light in the downstairs loo is
that the loo fronts the house and has a rather nice stained glass window
:-)
This loo is mainly used for a quick wizz when having a drink while watching
the football. I am going to set up a speaker in the ceiling so that I can
have 5 live playing there during the game or music playing there during a
party.
My wife came up with this idea :-)

I may have missed the point of Tracey's post here, but ...

I've got an EcoSwitch in my downstairs loo (thanks for the pointer Mark).
I
don't, currently, have any X-10 control by ANY form of occupancy detection,
but I can see how it might be better in LIVING areas than the fairly dumb
response of an EcoSwitch. My reasons for this are that, in living areas,
occupancy can be deemed as a breach of security if the house is supposed to
be empty and, as has been well documented on this list occupancy is not
sufficiently established by movement.

Perhaps I'm missing something else, as far as Michael and Mark are
concerned, but
- an X10 module and wiring is going to be more expensive than an EcoSwitch
- the response of the X-10 is going to be slower
- if I have an intruder and they only visit the loo, then I'm not too
worried :-)
- and, finally, if I hit the timeout on my Ecoswitch whilst in the
downstairs loo, then frankly, I'm spending too much time reading the latest
edition of Smarthouse!

No offence intended, can anybody justify X-10 over Ecoswitch in the
downstairs loo?
