Well I now have a hacked ePOD infront of me (and three more in boxes) and
guess what, the power supply is 100-240 with a standard figure of eight
connector, hooray ! So all I need now is some network cards. I wanted to go
the Linksys wireless route, but can not find any suppliers in the UK. So I
think it may be Proxim Symphony cards with the bridge to allow me to plug
in
anywhere (my house is soon to be flood-wired with CAT5 so I can do lots of
experimenting with best positions - ooer!).

Bear in mind that the external antennae typically add around 2-2.5 dB of
gain - this doesn't sound much, but don't forget dB is a logarithmic scale,
so even if you can mount it on the roof you still might get black spots
without one.
Tim.
