Bear in mind that a number of apps that I have downloaded for my iPAQ have
been compiled specifically to work with the ARM processor.

Dan, this is something I'm rather confused about too at the moment.
The Embedded VB compiler makes no mention of older versions of CE, at
least not when I looked in the obvious places. Running one of the
emulated CE devices reveals they claim to be running CE3.0, but the
operating system is version 2.11 (I think).

I need to do some more digging to work out what version number means
what.
