By my experience with UPS, no more than a few hours. UPS act as a
collection
agent for Customs (as do the Post Office), but as UPS is an express
service,
they are a touch more efficient than the Post Office, so they should arrive
on Monday. UPS will want a cheque for Customs charges on the doorstep,
whereas FedEx send on an invoice around 3-4 weeks later If you tend to
import more than a couple of times a year it is worth opening a FedEx
account (linked to a credit card). If you want to send something overseas
they usually turn up within a couple of hours. Any charges you incur
through
Customs are automatically debited to your card. On the Post Office, I've
been beta testing a flight simulator for Radio Control models. Now that the
release version is out, the developer has sent me a free copy from the US
via Airmail. It was sent on the 12 December, and I'm still waiting!
Tim.

customs will keep them.
