Hmmm, may as well admit to putting 2 on back order too hehe

There is a hack to change from 8-bit video to 16-bit video on the
epodsfiles
site

http://www.geocities.com/epodsfiles/fun.html

So at least that takes care of one of the drawbacks I had with them.

Damn, gonna have to calm my nerves to solder in the extra 16meg of memory
:/
Any one in Northern Ireland HA a soldering wizard, ive never done surface
mount before :)

Now I just have to track down a WinCE SDK or throw linux on it ;)

The only questions still remaining are the backlight and the version of CE,
we only have guesses so far :)

I am going to order one Compaq Wireless Lan card and an access point( not
sure which one yet) and I will use this system for development until a
smaller cheap solution comes along either an ipaq with a built in pcmcia
socket, or a CF wireless card.

Just to confirm the price of delivery to Northern Ireland was the same as
it
was to Mainland UK. I went for the express option as it was only a few
dollars more :) And the nice lady was able to tell me that they won't
charge
my CC until dispatch, after she got a translation of my accent ;) (She
nearly fainted when I said Derriaghy hehe)
