I have an epod and it IS powered by a dc converter of some kind. So, you
plug the converter into the mains power and then another cable ont he
converter plugs into the epod. I can check for specs ont eh converter if
needed. I am in the US, not the UK.
The screen provides a very good quaility picture with a lot of adjustment
for both brightness and contrast.
I'd be glad to answer any other questions everyone might have since I can
actually give you a "hands on" review.
