They told me about an hour ago that they have sold out but do have another
100 supposed to be coming in the next couple of weeks. So they are still
taking orders. As I said, there are reports that 10,000 were made, so there
should be a steady supply, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the price go
up. As Vince said, there may be another company buying all remaining stock
which would certainly curtail supply. I now have a total of 4 on the way to
me with a guy in the states willing to sell me another one that has already
been hacked (just waiting on shipping charges from him). I expect to use
two
straight away, maybe try the 32Mb upgrade on another and then have one left
as a spare. I just can't believe the price of these things, compare them to
a webpad, PDA, laptop or even an LCD pannel and they really are fantastic
value. I know they have limitations, but is there anything that comes
seriously close to the functionality for less than £300 let alone $200 ?
