The standalone iPAQ is small and light - slightly larger than a Palm, but
not much. With the PCCard sleeve it doubles in thickness is about 70-80% in
volume terms compared with a Pronto, and about the same weight. The BIG
advantage is that it has Internet explorer built in, so combined with a
web-server the possibilities are endless. I don't have the kit, but I like
Mark's idea of displaying video on there. There is a CF card in the works
from Proxim, but as the CF sleeve doesn't have a battery, sustained use
could be a problem.
