Back in 1998 I paid =A33,500 for a wireless bridge and an access point=20
that only ran at 1-3Mb/sec (depending on atmospheric conditions.)

This was to connect a couple of almost-but-not-quite adjacent=20
buildings.

Compared to that, I see a 10-fold fall in price over 3 years ;-)
