I assume only one card would need an antenna, ie the non-mobile one, and
that would be suitable?

Nope, no sign of a CE or Linux driver, but as their downloads section isn't
working, I don't get a lot of enthusiasm for this company :/

The external antenna is available, just checked on jungle.com ?64+vat here

Hmmm, this ios starting to get very expensive :)

ipaq plus pcmcia jacket plus 2 wifi cards plus antenna, hmmm, thats about
?900 including the vat :/

One day, the perfect system will be the right price hehe
