Hi Steve,

Great Website!!  Thanks to you though I've now caught the home automation bug!  Ive recently bought a three bedroom bungalow and shortly after moving in I discovered that it needed a total rewiring (the place wasn't even earthed as it has an overhead mains supply!!) and shortly after stumbled across your site!

Since seeing your site I have spent so much time looking into HA on the web and have decided to take the plunge!!!

The only problem that I have encountered so far is that most of the info is US based, especially in the comp.home.automation newsgroup so, yesterday I submitted a Request for Discussion for a new newsgroup called uk.tech.home-automation.  If you think that this is a good idea then could you please pop along to the uk.net.news.config newsgroup and give me, or us, some support.

With a new install coming up soon I think I'll need all of the help that I can get!!!!

Thanks & Love the sight

Lyndon

Hi Mark,

Great Website - I've found it a great source on info.  Thanks to you and a couple of others though I've now caught the home automation bug!  I've recently bought a three bedroom bungalow and shortly after moving in I discovered that it needed a total rewiring (the place wasn't even earthed as it has an overhead mains supply!!) and shortly after stumbled across your site!
