Yes, actually more than that, run all the cables that will go to a
given location, and the ones which can go past that location- I
haven't had any bundles of 20 cables yet, but for example there are
some runs which then branch out to about 4 locations

Just semantics- audio folks usually talk about cable runs, whether a
single mic cable or a few 40-way multicores, speaker cables and mains
cables...
