Hi Mick
for long-time saving/filing of bookmarks/favourites i use Excel, using one
worksheet per subject
i.e. one worksheet Home Auto
one worksheet genealogy
one worksheet space exploration etc etc you get the drift/
don't know if thats the sort of thing you want
portable (on floppy) - easy to back up - you can use your own plain text
description for the bookmark - can be ordered a-z if need be
