I've got some javascript that repeadedly gets a jpeg (which can be updated
on the server) to give , not quite perfect , video... which is ok I guess
for security but not for watching TV! if you're interested...

I know when I try to view a remote desktop (with VNC) with a TV card
running
I just get a black screen or a still frame now and then.

This over a 100meg LAN so a wireless LAN would probably be a no-no for
video
when I think about it.
