Not sure *exactly* what your situation is, but here, I use a box made by
Axis Communications. It has 4 camera inputs,a nd has a built-in *webserver*
and 100BaseT outlet. Once configured you can view all four cams at once in
realtime. I use it to remotely monitor my house from (real) work. I do
however have the luxury of a leased line at both ends.
The box is not cheap at all. I remember about £2000...
