Respin disks, I believe, are ones with a few fixes on i.e. more up-to-date than the original images. Certainly when I downloaded RH7 I was advised to get the respin images. They certainly worked fine in the end. Oliver.

I'm trying to download the iso for V7.0 of redhat there are two iso's which
are termed respin any idea what that refers to?

Thanks for the offer but I'm impatient I could have the ISO's by the morning
refreshed and ready to install :)

Paul, take a look at Red Hat 7.1, Mandrake 7.2, SUSE 7.1 [is that released
yet?], Turbo Linux [forget the version number] or one of many others. My
personal preference is for Mandrake 7.2, but they are all excellent.

I have the GPLed versions of SUSE 7.0 and Mandrake 7.2 readily available -
amongst many, many others - and would be happy to send you a copy on a nice
shiny Samsung CDR. If none of the above suit [I don't have Red Hat] drop me
a
line and I'll search my catalogue for all available distros.

One off offer - no charge!
