Thanks you everyone for their input.

The guys are arriving tomorrow at about 10.30, and include the head man
from
Holland, a Mr Hendricks.

As yet I do not know exactly what they want to discuss, but if it's
possible
I will put forward your requests and also tell you what feedback I got.

I'm hoping they will have an RU970 (colour Pronto) with them for me to see.
I'm also hoping they forget to take it away with them ! :-)

I personally will be asking when they are going to upgrade their software
and most importantly the firmware of the Pronto. It is disgraceful that
Marantz have released 3 upgrades whilst Philips have posted none - it is
very important for RU940 users as if the firmware gets corrupted currently
the only solution is to return the remote for swap out !

Anyway, we'll see
