So I've splashed out on a few more modules and the remote control kit, and
I've also got
an 8in1 remote, an Infrared -> X10 thingy, and a CM12U.

How do people organise their macros etc. ?

Downstairs in the lounge we have the 8in1 remote controlling via IR on
housecode A
and because I like direct dim control I have the main uplighters on A1, and
then I
have programmed a few macros on A.

Upstairs we have the bedroom lamp modules on Bx, and the TM12 on C (not
being used as an appliance mod)
just for control, so I've programmed some macros on C1->C8 which control
bedroom lamps etc,
but of course I don't then get direct control of dim, it all has to go via
the macros on the CM12.

I could switch the lamp modules to the same housecode as I've done
downstairs
and then run a mix of macros and direct control, what do you do ????

Also is there a way of setting up time based macros, ie if its the middle
of
the night turn on lights
at 30%, but if it's the evening 70% ???

I'm just running this off the CM12U and using ActiveHome to download all to
the interface, I'm
not really keen on running a PC fulltime at the mo.

Nick.

PS.I managed to get all this approved purely to get the washing machine and
dishwasher on timers
so that they run on economy 7 - not bad huh :-)
