LD12 & AM12 for ceiling lights

Having raided Homebase (again), I've got quite a few lamp and appliance
modules
that are spare.

Is there any good reason why I can't use these for the ceiling lights,
assuming
I stick a 3-pin socket in line on the switched live-feed (in the
loft/floorboards)?

One other quick question - how do I/can I get the PIR sensor (MS13E) to
tell
Homeseer when it's getting dark? I know I can configure it so that it only
detects movement when it gets dark, but clearly this would only work if it
is
constantly being tripped.

Thanks

Pete
