The
Pace also tends to screw up in voice applications (though your experience
may be
different. I use Win2k, which might not help). I ended up ditching my Pace
as it
wouldn't work reliably with any voicemail applications. I now use a Diamond
SupraExpress 56e Pro which, whilst not supporting UK CLI, works just fine
in
every other respect. I'm using WinIVR (from http://www.cecam.co.nz) for
voicemail.
I
don't think there's anything else available, other than the
Hayes.
Steve
I believe a
couple of people on here use a hayes modem. I use a pace, but you'll
have
trouble getting one of them, they have gone bust.
