I live in liverpool and i would say scousers define a woolyback is anyone
from wigan/st helens/newton le willows/haydock/widnes/warrington/runcorn,
anyone  who pronounces the word 'tapes' as 'turps' or 'pasty' as 'pasta'
fits the bill!
Not a term i use myself :-)
