Sounds interesting Paul

from using showshifter I can see how useful this sort of thing would be
(unfortunately SS is too unstable on my PC to use at the moment).

In a few years I think as well as a central Music server we'll all have a
central TiVo type box recording and playing multiple streams for different
people around the house.
