Demon offer 24/7 access over bondable ISDN for 50 quid/month. Seems
like a reasonable compromise for those out of ADSL reach. I imagine
(although have no direct evidence) that they are more reputable than
most.
You have to have a BT line.

(Read carefully - you buy half from Demon, half from BT to get
totally free access).

If anyone does have personal experience of using them for 24/7
connections I would be interested to hear cos I am thinking about
going this route myself.
