Re-visiting the timeouts here, I have everything set up for 120 seconds of
inactivity.  How PlusNet can then claim that the connection was constantly
being disconnected by their "idle timeout" baffles me!  -  Or
have they
changed their end to 5 seconds of inactivity!

Tis done,
yes we were surprised to get the 3 hour warning of termination too, had no
indicators of their unhappiness re: 24/7 connection. They do seem to cover
it in their terms, maybe that was added in today?:)

Looks like Demon are offerring the connectivity and terms we all seek, but
at a higher price £34 + VAT /pm, at least we get the VAT back:). Here we go
again .
