They certainly have a config option covering most of the common NTL
set-top boxes. I had trouble with mine with NTL's what-was
Westminster Cable franchise, but WC have a long and tangled history
and uses some kit BT built especially for the purpose. I don't know
if TIVO will do IRDA either - I think some NTL boxes use that?
You can try out TIVO for 30 days without signing up for a
subscription, so perhaps you can test-and-return?
