Graham, do I understand this correctly, you run SBS on your server?
do you have the ATI AIW card in this machine?

I have the ATI AIW board on an XP machine, not W2K so I guess that is
why I have no problems. The TS that comes with XP is of course not the
same as the TS on W2K server which may also help. The mobo on my XP
machine is Abit KT7 btw.
In answer to your questions, I have a few laptops, the two that I have
used as TS clients are one fresh install of XP and one old NT4 desktop.
As I said the AIW is on my XP desktop (well midi tower actually) machine
and I have done a capture from broadcast (terrestrial) without any
problem, though it was only a single test capture of about 30 seconds.
I do plan to use show shifter on this machine, but have lots of other
stuff on the go at the moment and so have not got round to really trying
it out that much. I do have all the latest drivers installed, but I am
not familiar with the 'Crossbar' driver.
My server (the first genuine server on my LAN) is W2K SBS and is
absolutely fantastic, I really can't fault it at the moment, but as with
every machine I use, I did a complete rebuild when I installed it (I
have never had a fully successful upgrade of an operating system and
gave up trying some time ago).
Regards
Graham
